Additional measures reported and testing for coronavirus is limited. 

Switzerland – March 31st 2020 – 19,105 cumulative total cases tested, confirmed and reported and 476 total deaths.

Stay at home measures to be eased, first PPE flight arrives.Testing is an issue, Federal v canton figures are not accurate.    

Switzerland – April 30th 2020 – 29,105 cumulative total cases tested, confirmed and reported and 1537 total deaths.

Switzerland – May 31st 2020 – 30,924 cumulative total cases tested, confirmed and reported and 1,689 total deaths.

Summer optimism as confirmed cases reduce and death rate slows. Much talk of summer holidays and travel by car.

Zurich is empty as people leave the city. Talk is now of September and school starting up again. Testing a problem still.    

Switzerland – August 31st 2020 -42,698 cumulative total cases tested, confirmed and reported and 1,734 total deaths.

Schools have started and contact tracing is under pressure from those travelling or returning from holiday.

Widespread testing available and both Federal and Canton health officials being openly criticised  for their management of the crisis.
