How about a networking night with a twist: a multi-lingual one
Why socialize in just one language when we could do so in more? There are so many of our members who can speak not only 2 but 3, 4, or 5 languages. On Thursday 5 October, you will have an opportunity to participate in a multi-lingual networking night from 7:00-9:00 pm.
How it works:
When you register for the event, we will ask you three questions:
- What language(s) do you enjoy socializing/networking in?
- What language(s) would you like some support socializing/networking in?
- What language would you be willing to provide support in for others?
When you arrive, we will first begin in English as one large group.
We’ll then divide the remaining time into rounds, to give people a chance to socialize in more than one language or remain speaking in the same one.
Sometimes you’ll be with someone who may need your support in speaking and in another round, the roles will reverse and you may find yourself with someone else who will be supporting you.
